Synopsis

"Police Chief Delaney Reed can handle supernatural disasters. With gods vacationing in her little town of Ordinary, Oregon, and monsters living alongside humans, she’s had plenty of practice.

But trying to handle something so normal, so average, so very ordinary as planning her own wedding to the man she loves? Delaney is totally out of her depth.

When a car falls out of the sky and lands on the beach, Delaney is more than happy to push guest lists and venue dates out of her mind. The car appears empty, but someone has slipped into Ordinary with stolen weapons from the gods. Someone who has the ability to look like any god, monster, or human in town. Someone who might set off a supernatural disaster even Delaney can’t handle.

Performed by Colleen Delany, Henry W. Kramer, Megan Dominy, Richard Rohan, Karen Novack, Danny Gavigan, Amanda Forstrom, Carolyn Kashner, Marni Penning, Gabriel Michael, Torian Brackett, Chris Genebach, Nick DePinto, Rayner Gabriel, Michael Glenn, Zeke Alton, Lise Bruneau, Andy Brownstein, Bradley Foster Smith, Yasmin Tuazon, Nora Achrati, and Eric Messner."

Time stops, there is a loud bang and a car falls out of the sky in the beginning of Nobod......more

I feel like we’ve had Delaney drag her heels enough on this wedding and relationship. I was truly irritated by her weird gooey inner dialogue only to have her mess up all the wedding planning talk. Yeah it really doesn’t take much to give some input on the big day, so it makes her character feel so......more

I enjoyed the first several books in this series, but my enjoyment level has been decreasing. The books have become focused on the relationship drama to the detriment of the rest of the plot. Delaney can’t commit and Ryder is endlessly patient. Again. Didn’t we just do this in the last book? Listen,......more
