About Emma Mahony

Since her ADHD diagnosis, Emma Mahony has retrained as a teacher. She also works as a freelance journalist. Emma is the author of two books published by HarperCollins-Double Trouble (Twins and How to Survive Them), and Stand and Deliver (And Other Brilliant Ways to Give Birth). Her passion is to share her experience and what she has learned to help the growing number of people diagnosed later in life, to understand this complex disorder.

3.5 stars rounded up. It starts off like a book about ADHD but then sort of turns into memoir that get too broadly generalised, or in some cases leads to bad advice (eg. joining the military?! No thanks!). Most of it I couldn’t relate to, but the actual evidence-based bits were good.......more
