I really struggle to say something positive about this book. So much bitterness, hatred of the Polish people, weird conversations with a dead NAZI, clunky writing. I continued even so, because I hoped there would be some conclusion but no, I was left hanging in the air. And relief that I can move on......more

Great except for the dead guy dialog What a wonderful story which leaves the reader ready for the next book. Her dialog with the SS who ran the death camp almost ruined it for me. It was unnecessary and disturbing, detracting from the story.......more
