Synopsis

When a young boy named Jim Hawkins finds a treasure map and narrowly escapes pirates searching for it, he brings it to Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney, who immediately outfit a schooner named The Hispaniola and bring Jim along as cabin boy to retrieve the buried treasure. However, as they near the secret island, Jim discovers that 19 out of the 25 members the crew are plotting a mutiny, lead by the ship’s cook, Long John Silver. It’s up to Jim and the 6 remaining faithful sailors to somehow repel the mutiny, find the treasure, re-capture the ship after they are forced to abandon it, and return home safely.

About Matthew Wolf

Matthew Wolf was born in London and trained at the London Centre for Theatre Studies. He has appeared in many productions on the London Stage including the title role in Macbeth alongside Robert Pattinson. He was the voice of Thor for Marvel’s animated series Hulk vs Thor, and he also voiced multiple characters in the world premiere of David Mamet’s comedy Keep Your Pantheon for BBC Radio 4.
