Mary Howitt lived back in the 1800s and she wrote many stories like this classic in my hands. Tony DiTerlizzi, who illustrated the Spiderwick chronicles, did the fabulous and amazing artwork. He used Edward Gorey, Chaz Addams and Arthur Rackham as his inspiration and I can see that in the art. I kno......more
