Synopsis

It's been over fifteen years since Mellaniphe, the Queen of the Nymph, tried to abduct Nixie Rogers with a desire to establish her as the Heir to the Nymph Kingdom crown. A brokered peace deal swapped Emily, the Seattle Wiccan, with the infant, postponing the outcome of the disagreement between Mellaniphe and Nixie's parents, Alex and Cassie.

Now on the verge of her sixteenth birthday, Nixie impatiently awaits the foretold arrival of her Nymph Magic, a companion to the wizarding skills already emerging and growing strong. In the company of her cousin Arabella, daughter of Leander and Abrianna, and accumulated companions along the way, she embarks on an adventure that defines her future and uncovers a secret so important that its exposure could ruin the land of A'nland.

About Charles Lamb

Charles Lamb (1774-1834) was a nineteenth-century English poet and essayist whose best-known works Essays of Elia and The Last Essays of Elia include such titles as "The Two Races of Men," "Mrs. Battle's Opinions on Whist," "My First Play," "Sanity of True Genius," "Confessions of a Drunkard," and "A Bachelor's Complaint of the Behaviour of Married People." His first poems appeared in Samuel Taylor Coleridge's collection Poems on Various Subjects, and his early epigrams, plays, and essays were printed in such publications as the Albion, the Morning Chronicle, and the Morning Post. Lamb also collaborated with his sister, Mary, on many works, including Tales from Shakespeare, as well as with Charles Lloyd on Blank Verse.
