Synopsis

The pyramids hold the questions and the Sphinx guards the truth.

Twins Jaden and Malia Kwan thought they were finally ahead. Then came the ambush. The separation. The silence.
Malia is snatched away to a hidden stronghold, a prisoner in the hands of enemies who see her as the key to their plan. Alone, she's forced to confront a power that was never meant to be touched.

Jaden is left behind, chasing answers in the desert. Beneath the sands of Egypt, under the shadow of the Sphinx, he uncovers secrets buried for millennia—secrets that could rewrite humanity's past and its future.

Different battles. Same war. And if the twins can't survive on their own, they'll never uncover the warning carved into stone and sealed in blood.

About Ken Warner

Ken Warner grew up reading science fiction and fantasy; his early favorites were The Chronicles of Narnia, Dune, and of course, Lord of the Rings. When he began his martial arts training in high school, he heard many myths and legends about masters who possessed mysterious powers, typically attributed to their internal chi energy. He often thought these legends would make a great story. This ultimately led to his first books, the Katana series.

Ken continues to focus on science fiction and fantasy in his writing. He went full-time with his author career late in 2020. Ken lives in Connecticut with his wife, Parveen, and their many dogs and cats.
