*3.5 Short but powerful! I have never really thought much about the lesser known prophets' lives (we also get to meet Hosea!) and this made me appreciate them as much as the more well-known prophets. This was a heartbreaking book to read. I wept with Amos at the refusal of the people of Israel, and many of the people of Judah to refuse to repent to avoid destruction.
