Synopsis

She could give him everything except the one thing he wanted—A child.
A 2015 Readers’ Favorite Award Winner from NY Times & USA Today bestselling author Lorhainne Eckhart, THE PRICE TO LOVE is “an emotional story about a marriage on the brink of falling apart and how two people cope with changing relationships. Lorhainne Eckhart has written a fantastic novel about secrets, desires and the lengths we're willing to go in order to make our dreams come true." (Natasha Jackson, Readers' Favorite)
“Lorhainne Eckhart, is courageous to write a story with a "good guy" who is so despicable in his behavior. That does not ruin the story, though; if anything, it adds realism and volume to the plot.”
“I love the Friessens! Have read the entire series ... If there were more than 5 stars I would give them.” C. Bailey
In THE PRICE TO LOVE, Candy knows that her husband wants a baby, but she can’t give him one. When Neil pays for a surrogate and moves her into their home, he tells her not to worry, but she suddenly feels as if she’s on the outside looking in.
Then, one day she meets a little girl who steals her heart, a little girl with a damaged, scarred soul filled with the kind of despair and hopelessness that should never be in the innocent eyes of a child. But neither Neil nor his family understand her need to help.
As their marriage hangs on the brink of disaster, Candy is forced to make a choice between her husband and helping this child.

(not on Scribd) I’m actually going to bump this up to 3⭐’......more

Neil takes matters out of her hands literally makes all the decisions in regards to how he will make a baby etc... He is the most selfish person......more

They finally worked thru their problems of the land that she owned and that Neil wanted. Then the problem with the woman who carried the baby for Neil and wanted Neil......more

With Candy's health issues she is not able to have her own children and that is where problems between......more
