Another fun historical adventure from Chambers; having some continuity with Cardigan was a nice bonus as well. A bit heavier on the romance angle than I recall Cardigan being, but not to an unforgivable degree in my mind. Chambers' descriptions of the New York wilderness also resonate nicely with me......more

Not as good as cardigan but much more simple and sweet. I very much enjoyed the romance and enjoyed the way the characters were done. Never got to board but never got to the edge of my seat. But it was a fun and easy read for sure and i liked what i got out of this read.......more
