Synopsis

The Law and the Promise pairs Neville’s core “Law” (assumption) with the “Promise” (spiritual awakening), illustrating both through numerous real-life case stories. You see how imaginal scenes, inner conviction, and persistence produce tangible outcomes - jobs, health, relationships, and opportunities - without forcing the outer world. The second thread points beyond results to revelation: a deeper unfolding of being. It’s one of Neville’s most popular, example-rich books. Case studies demonstrating the Law of Assumption How to construct effective imaginal scenes Persistence and “naturalness” as keys The Promise: awakening beyond manifestations

About Neville Goddard

Neville Goddard (1905-1972) was born to an English family in Barbados and moved to New York City at the age of seventeen to study theater. In 1932, he abandoned his work as a dancer and actor to fully devote himself to his career as a metaphysical writer and lecturer. Using the penname Neville, he became one of the twentieth century's most original and charismatic purveyors of the philosophy generally called New Thought, and his impact is still felt today.
