I enjoyed the second instalment in this series and glad that I have pre-ordered the third. Although this could be standalone I feel like you would be missing a huge part of the relationship explanations between the family if you don’t read the first book before this one. Upgrading to 4.5 since I found I kept thinking about some of the events :) Lots of intrigue in this enjoyable, multi-POV family thriller. This is one stressed-out family! I enjoyed the setting in the snowy ski resort in the French Alps, and Ms. Davids takes full advantage of this. Warning (of sorts).........more
