I'm usually not a fan of the time during the "Dark Ages". Not one of my favorites I love Bertrice. She introduced me to love, sex, and what it means to be a woman. This story is well written. But in particular, the third section left me wanting. Its ending seemed contrived and did not rings true. It was not up to parr, especially at the final chapter.......more
