About Robert J. Mrazek

Robert J. Mrazek is a navy veteran and former congressman from the North Shore of Long Island. While in Washington, he authored a number of pieces of landmark legislation. Since his retirement from Congress, Mrazek has served on the boards of several companies and charitable organizations, including ten years as chairman of the Washington-based Alaska Wilderness League. He has authored several works of historical fiction, including Stonewall's Gold, The Deadly Embrace, and Unholy Fire.

I have not read Mr. Mrazek's first book, Valhalla. Yet this book can be read as a stand alone novel. Having not read the first book I have not established a relationship with Lexy Vaughan and Steve Macaulay yet. However I thought that they worked well together. They have a good working relationship.......more

I enjoy these characters and the idea here but I had trouble with some of the plot. There were plot lines that popped up but disappeared without explanation. Also, the climax of the book happens and then the book ends, which I don't love personally. It left some open questions for me.......more
