Synopsis

Catie Bay has worshiped much older Chad McCray since she was a child. When she fumbles a seduction attempt after her graduation from high school, she flees to Europe, hoping she can forget her unrequited love.Four years later, Catie returns, now a beautiful, worldly woman, and Chad, the quintessential bachelor, takes notice. He’s still not looking for love, but he wouldn’t turn down a romp in the sack with sexy Catie. She’s no longer the lovesick girl next door, though, and sometimes a man doesn’t know what he wants until it’s too late.

About Helen Hardt

I doubt that many authors can state that they have been writing since they were six years old. But, such is the story of author, Helen Hardt. Helen had a passion for the written word from age 6 when her mother read stories to her at bedtime. She wrote her first story, then gradually became an award winning author of historical, romantic fiction and erotica.

Author Hardt is also a mother, an attorney, a black belt in Taekwondo, and a grammar geek. She lives in Colorado with her family, and has the luxury of writing from her home.

Catie was ultimately a doormat...she was so blinded by her love/crush for Chad that she let him walk all over her. Chad was just straight up a jerk. Being a p......more

An easy, entertaining read. In these times of lockdown (and being at high risk, luckily vaccinated), I like this type of books. One thing surprised me: Paris is a big city, but NOWHERE does Helen Hardt tell us HOW Chad found Catie at Dominic's appartment in that big city? Quite a few missing words or......more
