Jessiva's flourishing career as one of the Queen's dancers is cut short when the kingdom is conquered and dragons descend upon the Capital. When she is snatched up by one of the dragon princes, Jessiva is afraid, not only for herself, but for those who depend on her to survive. She determines to destroy Varex, the dragon prince, no matter what the cost. But she didn't anticipate his kindness and charm, or his unexpected need for her help.
