About Shay Davis

Shay Davis is a wife, mother of two boys, and a paralegal; fighting on the behalf of others by day, and a creator of soul stirring black love stories by night. Shay grew up in the busy streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she met her husband. However, in her younger years while living in the inner city, but attending schools in the neighboring suburbs, Shay struggled with being labeled as not "hood enough" for the streets, or "proper enough" for the suburbs.

Shay later found solace between the pages of her journal, releasing her innermost thoughts and penning her every desire. Her passion for capturing her emotions turned into creating magnetic stories of black love from the feelings that stirred deep within her. Shay has been writing since high school and for the past few years she has honed her skills even more, creating several short stories in her favorite genre; Black Romance. Strutting down the path she's created for herself, Shay is ready to share her pen game with the world.

Releasing her debut novel in July of 2020, Shay has now published six books, and one audiobook, under her erotic alias, Eva Sherie. She has also been nominated for New Black Author of the Year by Black Girls Who Write, featured in Sistah Girls Book Club Newsletters, featured on Hood Delights podcast, and Brazen Babe Reviews podcast. Shay's biggest accomplishment, to date, is ranking number one on the Bestseller charts for her release of The Marriage Contract.
