About Peyo
Pierre Culliford (1928–1992), born in Belgium in 1928, was the cartoonist known as Peyo. Peyo began his career working with some of Belgium’s most talented cartoonists, including his lifelong writing partner Yvan Delporte. In 1958, The Smurfs made their first appearance and went on to become the world-famous characters we know and love today.
About Cassandra Morris
Cassandra Morris has received several Earphones Awards from Audiofile Magazine, for the books Ivy & Bean, Dear Zoe, and Eggs. She is the voice of the Darkest Powers series by Kelley Armstrong, The Clique series by Lisi Harrison and the Ivy & Bean series by Annie Barrows. She can also be heard as the voice of Charlotte in the animated Christmas special "Yes, Virginia.” She has done work for other animated series (up and coming How to Drive Everybody Crazy), radio commercials (McDonald's, RadioShack, Supercuts, AT&T, etc) and TV commercials (Silk Soy Milk, Samsung). She recorded her first voiceover job when she was 12 years old.
