About Tobias S. Buckell

It's an excellent collection with a little something for everyone. I have to say, the zombie storie opening this ("A Different Kind of Place") hit especially hard after I checked the copyright page and found it had been written before COVID came to town. Ouch.......more

I found this collection a bit uneven. Some of the stories are great - favorites were "Shoggoths in Traffic," "The Boneyard" (a really interesting take on finding a dragon), "The Scar that Stains the Gulch" (both this and "Sundown" are fun for American West settings and including characters of color)......more
