This book was a wonderfully surprising change for me - it wasn't what I was expecting it to be ........ at all. I really enjoyed this. Very well written and characters and well described and easy to visualise. Usually, the typical murder mystery follows either the detective or amateur sleuth in the form of a busy body, so it was quite different to mostly follow the accused. There are two interesting characters at the heart of this mystery, and they make for absorbing reading.
