Me acojona criticar a Jacq. Es como sacrilegio (¿Faraonilegio?). Vamos a lo positivo : al leer la novela te da mil detalles sobre la vida en el comienzo de la vida de Ramses II (el Ramses famoso, vamos) que supongo serán verdad verdadera. Although this book isn't as half awful as its sequels, it's still pretty damn awful. Maybe the author isn't to blame; it could be just a case of poor translation into English which explains its flat prose and cringingly bad dialogue.
