Ben Reeder was found in a pineapple patch near Honolulu, Hawaii, and adopted by an unsuspecting Air Force couple. He grew up in South Texas reading Tolkien, Asimov, and Robert E. Howard, and writing action stories for his friends in high school. He currently lives in Missouri with his girlfriend and two orange cats, Toby and Musaba.
Charlie Thurston is an experienced audiobook narrator, actor, and playwright who has received numerous Earphones Awards for his work. Rating 3.5 stars I didn't like this one as much as the previous books. While Chance is still an apprentice, there didn't seem to be much instruction given in this book.
