Full disclosure, I read this book as an advance copy and didn’t purchase the book. I found this slice of Roman history to be very interesting. The information contained would surely be enough to supply the basis, that would make a good start for a history class on a 200 year piece of Roman history.......more

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. For a peace period, there was still lots of war, assassinations and intrigue. However there was also advances in the society that improved life for all. It was interesting how they continued the line of the ruler......more
