This was my first time reading a Ralph Cotton book. I have read a number of westerns, but didn't care much for this book. The characters were pretty flimsy. It is a quick read and I finished it, but I don't know if I am going to try another of his books.......more

Really not one of Ralph Cotton's better books. Should be a 2 1/2 star rating. Very standard plot done in a routine fashion. Cotton is a much better writer than this.......more
