Janice has outgrown her small town. On top of living with a mother that tolerates abuse from her stepfather, she must contend with the fact that staying in her hometown means she must relinquish her dreams. After meeting a guy who shares her same ambitions, Janice decides to leave all that she has known and chase her dreams in the city.
