I wish I liked this more. I found it so slow at most times. The building of the relationship was a good read but the rest felt like filler. I'm not a super fan of mystery either.......more

Very hard to rate this one. There are many interesting elements that give it texture, especially the exploration of synesthesia and the process in Search and Rescue. I’d never heard of the type of wilderness search training where the dog doesn’t focus on a specific person’s scent, so that was cool.......more
