Synopsis

The first of a series of high-octane spy thrillers, Into the Shadows: The Fever is the story of Michael Brennan, a career CIA non–official-cover intelligence officer and his quest to identify and disrupt a plot crafted by the Islamic State terror group. About Michael Brady

Lieutenant Colonel Michael Brady, US Army, retired, is a graduate of the Citadel, the Marine Corps Command and General Staff College, the Joint Forces Staff College, the US Army Airborne and Ranger Schools and earned his MS in strategic intelligence from the National Intelligence University in 2003 after serving as the director of the Presidential Emergency Operations Center in the White House. Brady currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina, and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses at the Citadel.

About Donald Corren

Donald Corren is an audiobook narrator and a New York actor with leading credits on and Off-Broadway, as well as numerous television appearances. On Broadway, he costarred with Judy Kaye in the critically acclaimed production of Souvenir, and replaced Harvey Fierstein in the seminal production of Torch Song Trilogy. This is an unusual novel. Even though it has much the same form as your ordinary techno-Thriller--CIA guy travels all over the world to stop a plot, it's focus is not so much on action. Instead, it strives toward realism and education. Quite a difference. Pretty good.......more
