Synopsis

2566 AD. Unlike the other Marines on board the troop ship Beowulf, when eighteen-year-old Arun McEwan is woken from cryo to board an enemy ship, he already knows that he will survive: his destiny to lead the Human Legion has been foretold. But there are other factions who will stop at nothing to bring about their rival dreams for humanity's future. Isolated on a ship rocked by mutiny, betrayal, and murder, Arun must find new allies amongst the most detested of the Navy crew: the freaks.

About Tim C. Taylor

Before a series of Doctor Who novels inspired him to start writing fiction in 2002, Tim C. Taylor first wrote music and then software. After twenty years in the software industry, he took a break in 2011, setting up Greyhart Press, a publisher of science fiction, horror, and fantasy. While most of his time has been spent publishing other authors, Tim found time to complete his first two novels, a series called the Reality War, published in February 2012. He started releasing a sister series of military SF novels called the Human Legion during Christmas 2014. When no one's looking, he also writes YA fantasy and science fiction short stories under the secret pen name of Crustias Scattermush. Tim lives in Bromham, England, with his family.
