Mike Lawson is the author of twenty-four novels. He’s been a finalist for the Edgar Award, the Shamus Award, the Barry Award, and has won the Friends of Mystery Award three times. The first book in his Kay Hamilton series, Rosarito Beach, was optioned for television. Joe DeMarco some how reaches down into me in a way few of Lawson’s “competitors” can do.
