Carolyn Crimi received her MFA in writing for children from Vermont College in 2000.She has published over fifteen books, including Dear Tabby, Don’t Need Friends, Boris and Bella, Henry & the Buccaneer Bunnies, Where’s My Mummy?, and I Am the Boss of This Chair. It's a good story. I read it to my youngest children, and my 10 year old enjoyed it. As a Parent and a teacher, I appreciate the message that you should stick to your gut instincts. No harm has ever come to someone who adamantly chose to read and write.......more
I thought this book was clever and funny. Bunny buccaneers and crazed pirate chickens are bound to please pirate-loving kids. It may be better for older preschoolers and young elementary students as the storyline may be a tad long & complicated for young toddlers.......more
