Linda S. Howington, an American author, was born in Alabama in 1950. She writes romance/suspense novels under the pseudonym Linda Howard. Inspired by the iconic novel, Gone With the Wind, by Margaret Mitchell, Howard began writing stories for her own enjoyment, until, after 20 years, she finally submitted a novel for publication. That novel set her a on a very successful career.
Linda's husband is a professional bass tournament competitor, and she travels with him and works on her laptop as he is competing. They live on a farm in Alabama in a beautiful, large home, where they raise cattle and have two furry pal golden retrievers.

The more I read Linda Howard's novels, the better I expect them to be! Maybe that's why this book didn't do anything for me. It wasn't bad, far from it. But there was no exciting elements.
