Synopsis

Best-selling author Stephanie Grace Whitson is a two-time Christy Award finalist and an Inspirational Reader's Choice Award finalist. Her novel A Garden in Paris is a provocative tale of renewal and redemption. Mary Davis finds herself alone and somewhat estranged from her only daughter Liz after her husband's death. To Liz's dismay, Mary is steadfastly determined to travel to Paris where she intends to have a private reconciliation with an old flame in their favorite romantic garden. But Mary's well-kept secrets are about to be exposed.

About Stephanie Grace Whitson

Award-winning novelist Stephanie Grace Whitson began playing with imaginary friends (i.e., writing fiction) in the 1990s when an abandoned pioneer cemetery near the Whitson's country home provided not only a hands-on history lesson for her four home schooled children, but also a topic of personal study. She has continued to write full time since the release of her first novel in 1995. When not writing or researching, she enjoys reading, quilting, spoiling her grandchildren and/or Kona Kai (the golden retriever), and riding her motorcycle named Kitty.

Jean-Marc was my favorite character and I thought he and Mary had good chemistry so I wa......more

Very much enjoyed this book. I really empathize with Mary in her marriage. Love seeing her break free and find herself.......more

This book is really more like a 3.75 star rating for me. If it wasn't for some editing issues, I could possibly have been persuaded to go 4 stars. I came to read this through a recommendation of a good friend, and I am glad I took up her advice and did so.......more
