A wild and wacky space adventure starring a boy, a gerbil, and a package of ground beef!

When his pet gerbil, Henrietta, is beamed aboard an alien spaceship—along with a package of beef from his parents’ fridge—Nicholas’s life takes a surprising turn.

Soon he’s being chased all over the universe by the dozens of different alien species that he somehow manages to offend. Can Nicholas save Henrietta and make it back home before his parents find out and ground him forever?

“What do you get when you combine a seventh grader, a gerbil, a package of ground beef, and an alien spaceship on a chase across the universe? David Lubar’s latest masterpiece, of course!”—DAN GUTMAN, bestselling author of the My Weird School series
