When a catastrophic military experiment shatters the barrier between their realities, Owen is the sole survivor, stranded in the vibrant, impossible world he was trained to destroy. He is rescued by Amelia, the very woman whose ‘madness’ allows her to see the truth, and they must form a desperate alliance. She is a master of the world’s hidden magic; he is a weapon of cold, hard logic.
Now, they are hunted. In Veridia, a fanatical lord leads a witch hunt, determined to see Amelia burn at the pyre. From the Axiom, a silent black-ops team arrives with a single, chilling directive: terminate the rogue agent Owen and sanitize his mistake by eliminating all witnesses. Caught between zealots and ghosts, their only hope for survival lies in trusting the one person they were taught to see as the enemy.
But the true threat is far greater than any army. Their clashing realities are two halves of a sundered world, a prison built to contain a cosmic horror that devours existence.
