The dragons and dragon riders know how to time travel, but it takes a toll on them. In this book, the time changes are less challenging as they happen in consecutive chapters, different from Dragonsblood.], Todd's previous solo Pern book. Still, lots of characters, but I was more sympathetic to them......more

I read this because they had a copy at the library when I took my sons. I enjoyed parts of the story, but I did not feel like it was a complete novel, in spite of its length. I did not buy in to any of the conflict, or characters completely.......more
