Synopsis

Hotel heiress Honor Palmer has never wanted anything more than to revive the faded old Palmers Hotel to the glamorous Hamptons hotspot it once was. When she inherits the property, she finally gets her chance…but it won’t be easy. Her greedy stepmother is out for her trust fund, her shallow celebutante sister is spending money faster than you can say “AmEx,” and there’s a chic new hotel opening down the street—owned by evil tycoon Anton Tisch and run by a hot playboy with ambitions of his own.Sexy, arrogant Lucas Ruiz has escaped a hardscrabble past to climb his way up in the luxury hotel industry. He’ll stop at nothing to make sure Tisch’s hotel succeeds—and that means packing the place with celebs, winning over locals…and going head-to-head with Honor Palmer. But somewhere between decadent breakfasts in bed and glittering galas in the grand ballroom, business gets very, very personal.

I'm still not sure what to make of this book. Parts were very good and well written, others felt all over the place. The pace was odd (it would take multiple chapters to get through a few days, then all of the sudden we were 3 years down the road) but it allowed for a rather broad and involved story......more

This book is super lenghty. Too many unnecessary details and chapters. What started out as interesting became very boring as the chapters goes on and on. If the storyline is interesting, I don't mind reading a lengthy novel. I have to skimmed through the last few chapters before I lose my patience.......more

“an old fashioned bonkbuster of a read…Totally engrossing” —Natasha Harding, THE SUN“If you like your novels packed with romps, with a helping of greed, blackmail and deception on the side, Bagshawe’s is a must” HEAT“Bagshawe has a wicked sense of humour, which makes this romantic read sharper than most examples of the genre. Fun and feisty.” SUNDAY MERCURY
