Synopsis

Just before two dueling book clubs are set to square off at Death by Coffee, one of the competitors turns up dead—bludgeoned with the silver teapot that was to serve as the prize. Suspicion immediately falls on Krissy, who was seen skulking around town in dark clothes on the night of the murder.

To clear her name and find the real killer, Krissy turns to an old flame, Officer Paul Dalton. But even Paul can't ignore the trail of evidence that seems to point in her direction. And with Krissy's personal nemesis, Officer John Buchannan, working overtime to pin the murder on her, it will take an amazing feat of detective work to close the book for good on an elusive killer . . .

About Alex Erickson

Alex Erickson has always wanted to write, even at a young, impressionable age. He's always had an interest in the motive behind murder, which has led him down his current path. He's always ready with a witty-at least in his opinion-quip, and tries to keep every conversation light and friendly. Alex lives in Ohio with his family and resident felines, who provide endless amounts of inspiration.

Rita Jablonski (a big fan of James Hancock) has decided to move......more

I had to buy the first one after reading the first few pages of Death by Tea, The cats and the humans are funny, witty, and just quirky enough to make you fall in love. The name of the shop is a perfect setting to breed a great new series of cozies. With a little more organization to the mystery its......more

I really like this series. It is fun, and I am in love with the cat Misfit 😂 The murder mystery was interesting, and I was not able to guess the murderer. I’m looking forward to continuing this series.......more
