I wish there was more diversity in this story. The two children that might not be white (based off their names) are described as smelly and don't speak grammatically correct. I also didn't care for the repetition of "only girls wear dresses" in the beginning of the story. These might be small detail......more

This is the perfect mystery book to recommend to kids who want something more than a missing stuffed animal.
