American novelist, Marc Cameron is best known for his Jack Ryan series, which he was honored to pen after novelist Tom Clancy passed. Cameron is also known for his Jericho Quinn action adventure books. Being born in Texas, he was an adventurer himself being a sailor and motorcyclist. Both venues can be found in his writing. OSI Agent Jericho Quinn has a BMW GS Adventure he uses in the series.
Cameron came to the thriller suspense genre of writing with 29 years experience in law enforcement, being a member of the U.S. Marshals Service, and specialized in dignitary protection. He obtained a second-degree black belt in Jujitsu, and is certified in scuba diving and man tracking. He has taught several classes in self defense to law enforcement agencies.
Cameron's short stories have been seen in The Sunday Evening Post and Boy's Life Magazine. In 2016 he was chosen to continue Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Campus Thriller series, Tom Clancy Code of Honor.
Cameron resides in Alaska with his wife, and his very own BMW GS motorcycle.
