Synopsis

Jeff Stetson has received eight NAACP Theater Image Awards for his play The Meeting, which aired on American Playhouse on PBS. He offers a thought-provoking work of fiction with Blood on the Leaves. Old white men-alleged perpetrators of racial killings during the civil rights struggle-are being brutally murdered in the South. "Jeff Stetson is an internationally acclaimed award-winning playwright and screenwriter for film and television. His play “The Meeting,” has been produced in all fifty-states and more than a dozen countries. It was broadcast nationally on American Playhouse. He adapted his play, “Fraternity,” for HBO as a one-hour series.
He has written and developed more than two-dozen films and television movies for the major studios and networks. His work has generated 27 N.A.A.C.P. Image Awards and awarded 23 most recently for a four-hour documentary: For Love of Liberty, which received the N.A.A.C.P Image Award for best documentary and Public Broadcasting Award in Excellence.
He served as Executive Producer and wrote the pilot: MLK/K Genius series for Disney+ Nat Geo and Imagine Television. The series was inspired by his play, ""The Meeting,"" and will be broadcast in 2024 along with ""The Christmas Wish,"" that he co-wrote with Debbie Allen for Warner Bros.
His novel: Blood on the Leaves was published by Warner Books. He adapted it for Paramount Pictures to star Jamie Foxx and as a limited series with Morgan Freeman's production company.
Mr. Stetson served as Dean of Faculty and Staff Affairs for the California State University System."

Excellent Book!! Well told story with a very poignant message: You can never outrun your crimes and misdeeds. Stetson puts the story together masterfully and lets you feel the pain that all of the characters, both major and minor, feel as it relates to the story. Loved it!......more
