James D. Shipman is the bestselling author of several historical novels, including Irena's War, Task Force Baum, Constantinopolis, Going Home, It Is Well, and A Bitter Rain. He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and began publishing short stories and poems while earning a degree in history from the University of Washington and a law degree from Gonzaga University. What can I say about this book. It was not my cup of tea. Some parts were good, but the pacing so ueneven. And the characters they were so flat. They made me so angry with theor behaviour and talk. Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion......more
