I have always been attracted to stories of magic and magical creatures, like dragons, elves, dwarfs, etc. This is about a very small town supposedly accessible to magical creatures only. The plot is easily followed and straightforward and the premise is finding out how a newcomer was killed and why.......more

An enjoyable book Ms. MacLeod has written an interesting and moving book. The characters are well thought out and realistic. There is just enough magic, mystery, and romance to keep things moving along. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.......more
