Rare to find a book that grasps another cultural point of view consistently. Only the Nez Pierces can can say how comfortable they are with his perception, but based on the authors long professional and personal association, it seems quite an accurate and novel telling of events.......more

This book might be fabulous but 50 pages in there was nothing that even compelled me to turn another page. I was expecting something similar to "The Trade" but got a bunch of repetitive dialogue and character development that either was useless or there simply was not enough of.
