About Patti Richards

Writer, editor, storyteller, speaker, author Patti Richards has spent the better part of 20 years spinning yarns and writing stories. Her first children's story, Fishing on the Black Volta, was published in Boy's Quest Magazine and her first eBook SNOW ANGELS is available through MeeGenius/Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing. Her most recent work, a rhyming story, DANCING GRANNIES, was a finalist in the 2014 Katherine Paterson Prize in Young Adult and Children's Writing at Hunger Mountain. Patti lives with her family in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
