Synopsis

After discovering my true heritage, I’m finally back to training at the academy so that I can become the powerful fae I was always meant to be. My four seductive instructors are by my side, and the realm is finally healing after years of conflict between the courts.

Until one of the fae at the academy is murdered . . . and then another. It looks like the killer is a dangerous wolf-like beast, one lashing out at random victims by instinct. But I’m not convinced.

Storms are brewing in the skies once again. Shadows loom on the horizon.

The Dark Fae are coming.

And they’re coming for me.

About Jenna Wolfhart

Jenna Wolfhart is a Buffy-wannabe who lives vicariously through the kick-ass heroines in urban fantasy. After completing a PhD in librarianship, she became a full-time author and can't believe she gets to spend her days typing the fantastical stories in her head. Born and raised in America, Jenna now lives in England with her partner, her dog, and her hamster.

Well this one is my favorite so far. I liked the fact that we learnt more about her mother. I liked the background on the redcaps and the dark fae. The story flowed well and I can't wait to find out more. I'm still not convinced about the romance part of the book and glad I had other things to focus......more

Kind of a rushed ending. I'm incredibly surprised at the way this book ended. I feel like the author got tired of this narrative and rushed it, rather poorly at that. I feel kind of like I wasted my time reading up until now. Nothing is truly resolved. No development. Just an end to call it an end.......more

I should’ve DNF’d because oh my god this was terrible. If people are managing to publish shit like this THEN WHAT is holding me back? It’s like a poorly written wattpad story made it out and it’s just garbage. Such disappointment from the other books. I’m not finishing this series because I’ll hate......more
