An entertaining read. Written in a conventional linear style, Paxman's lifestory is more surprising than you'd think. This book made me laugh out loud in parts. The ending was a let down. I agree that the BBC needs discussing, but as a finale it was a damp aquib. I'd have liked some discussion of wife and kids.
