Superb and very very funny. Great story line, wry, erudite and comedic. Loved the curmudgeony, workhorse who is the young (20 going on 40) Turner - so ill at ease amongst the corrupt shannigans of the upper classes. If you liked Andrew Miller's Pure, you'll love this.......more
Worth reading but did find the young JMW Turner decidedly irritating! Not the best way to feel about the main character..........more
