This is book seven of the series. I am a big fan of both series by Ryk Brown. The characters have grown on me and feel like friends now. The action is almost continuous. I am amazed at the skill of the Gahtazak. Slowly all the key people from the first series are gathering to do battle in this one.......more

Fun, but not the ending we all wanted I really wish one of his hairbrained schemes had worked out on this one. Another fun book in the series, but he's losing a lot of ships and a lot of troops. Pretty soon it'll be general Telles and one commander......more
