What Price Love?

This book was about Dillon, Flick's cousin, who is struck dumb when he sees Pris on the Jockey Club front steps by her beauty, which he immediately identifies with (being so beautiful himself). Dillon and Pris, and her twin brother, Rus, work together to foil another racing scam while Dillon and Pris try and figure out their feelings for each other. I just couldn't find any flaw with either of these two characters that would make them loveable. The only flaw might be that they are too beautiful, and thus society doesn't see past their exterior to the inner person - wow, I wish I had that problem. But this is what drew them together, because they each had this problem they saw past, into the heart of the other, so they knew that they completed the other. I did like that we got to revisit Devil, Gabriel, Vane and the older Cynster's. And it was a very good book, just hard to connect with perfect characters I guess - at least give her an allergy to horses or something :)

Finally. I don't know that I've ever been so happy to finally reach the end of a book. While I've absolutely loved some of the books in this series, this one just didn't work for me. I like SL's characters but not in this book. For the first half, I thought Pris was stupid at her best.
