Synopsis

Pride and Prejudice lovers who enjoyed To Have His Cake (and Eat It Too) won't want to miss what happens next. Now that the honeymoon is over, will Darcy and Elizabeth's love for each other survive the difficult times that an unequal alliance will surely bring? Or will those who insist on tearing them apart win the battle? What Listeners Said:"I love Ms. Hewitt's ability to draw you in when speaking Ms. Dixon's heartwarming, engaging dialogue! This is book two of three. I absolutely love this trilogy!!!""While listening to Ms Hewitt's outstanding performance in reading "What He Would Not Do," I am not doing mundane everyday activities, rather I am transported to a time long since past. I am wearing flowing gowns and attending balls! Ms Dixon's sweeping landscape is made vividly real by this narrator's rich and authentic vocal talent. Her accents are flawless.""The three stories in this trilogy are ones that I have read and listened to over and over again!! It is a GREAT three-story arc — a MUST read!!"
